Dr. Stan Appel, when testifying before the US Congress said "ALS is not an incurable disease, it is under funded." We believe you Dr. Appel, and we will ride till there is a cure!
Sponsoring a Rider
At the heart of the Tri-State Trek are our dedicated riders. These individuals work tirelessly – training, fundraising, and
riding in the name of finding an effective treatment, and ultimately a cure for ALS. Each rider is responsible for raising at least $1800 for
the ALS TDI, and it's inspirational to know that even in these trying times, some go well beyond.
Sponsoring our Finish in Greenwich, CT
In a show of solidarity, and contempt for ALS, we cycle through Greenwich, CT (the last seven miles of the Tri-State Trek) together, as one group. Honoring Greenwich Police Sgt Roger Petrone, and the roughly one hundred thousand others who are diagnosed with ALS each year, at 2:20pm, on Sunday, July 25, cyclists of the 2010 Tri-State Trek will descend on Greenwich Ave to the cheers and cowbell of family, friends, and spectators.
Corporate Sponsors
Corporate Sponsorship offsets event spending, and allows rider fundraising to go to research. In 2009, thanks to the help of some very generous organizations, we were
still able to return over 83% of rider fundraising to ALS TDI.
